Perform a Power Cycle

Restart Windows Explorer

Monitor Health

  1. Hold the power button down for a few seconds to turn off your laptop. This will open the recovery environment.
  2. Select Advanced Options from Troubleshoot.

Perform a System Scan

You may notice a blank screen on the boot screen if the system files have been corrupted or infected. To repair files, you should run a system scan .

  1. Start your computer in safe mode.
  2. To open Command Prompt, press Windows + ‘R.
  3. To perform a DISM scan, type DISM online/cleanup-image/restorehealth. It downloads the healthy cache files from Windows Updates.

Run Windows Update

Perform a Clean Boot
